About MCGC

The Marion County Gator Club is a part of the University of Florida Alumni Association. We are based in Ocala, Florida. Our goal is to celebrate all things Gators by hosting events, viewing parties, tours, and many other activities around Marion County. In addition, we raise money for scholarships that will go to future students entering college at the University of Florida. Our club re-formed in 2024 after an 11-year hiatus and the board has been working hard to build our membership back up and re-connect with our community. If you love the Gator Nation and live in Marion County, Florida, please join us for any of our exciting activities. We would love for you to be a part of this growing community.

Our mission is to support exclusively the University of Florida’s mission of teaching, research and service as determined by the University of Florida Board of Trustees. We do this by fostering and enhancing the relationship between the University of Florida and its alumni, students, and friends. The Marion County Gator Club is dedicated to giving back to our community and the University to maximize the educational opportunities of the current and future students.
